Ember Mclain stood at the door of her boyfriend's house, waiting. She knocked, no answer. She rang the door bell, no answer. After a series a ringing and knocking, the door finally opened. It was Drew, her boyfriend. Even though they haven't called each other for weeks, they still silently agreed to write a song and perform it at a Rock Audition they signed up for. They sent each other emails of the ideas for the songs, and uniform. Finally, after weeks of planning and not seeing each other, they were going to perform.

Ember gasped. "Drew!" She exclaimed." We're going to a rock concert audition! You're not supposed to be dressed up like that! What about the uniform we prepared together?!" Ember herself was dressed in black rebel clothes, with skull boots, black tights and a ripped black shirt. "I know." Drew said calmly, and he walked out of the door and put his hands on Ember. "I'm sorry, Ember." Ember eyes grew wide. "What do you mean?" She asked. "Why apologize?" Drew looked her in the eye. "I know we prepared for this, but, I met another girl, you know...Cynthia Yuna. Her rock song was better and I liked the uniform. I know your my girlfriend, and I'm supposed to do it with you, but I'm sorry. I'm breaking up with you." Ember stared at Drew. "But... Drew!" She stuttered. "You promised! You said I was the only one for you! You said you would love me forever!" Drew looked down and pushed Ember away. "I'm sorry Ember. You're not right for me." "What?" Ember asked. "But...who'll be your girlfriend?" Drew pointed at the girl coming up the street. "Cynthia." The girl was dressed in the same clothes as Drew. She walked up to Drew and put her hand over her shoulder. "Come on, Drew. We're going to be late." They started walking. "Drew!" Ember called, running after them. "Wait!" Drew ignored her. Cynthia turned her head around and smirked. "Goodbye, dipstick."

Ember watched as Drew and Cynthia walked into Drew's car and drive away. Then she made up her mind and went back home. At home, she took a box of matches, a can of gasoline and walked into the garden, holding the matches and gasoline in her hand, and her song she wrote with Drew in the other. First, she struck a match and burned the song. Then, she poured gasoline over her and struck the rest of the matches, thrusting them onto her and letting the fire consume her. As excruciating pain shot through her, she opened her eyes and whispered "You will remember my name." Then, everything went black.

When Ember opened her eyes, and sat up, the first thing she saw was her reflection, in a puddle in front of her. She studied her reflection. Instead of her brown, coffee colored hair, her hair was the color of a robin's egg. As she watched, her hair came to life, flickering, dancing, like an open flame. Her eyes, instead of dark brown, were brilliant green, and her whole entire body was glowing white.  She checked to see if her uniform was still on, smiled and walked back into the house, grinning evilly. She thrust her hand into open air, and a purple guitar with blue flames on it materialized, with a knob on it. She checked the time. It was still 5:56, 4 minutes before the audition started. She checked her reflection again, this time realizing that she was dead. Dead...She thought. But alive.... I'm a ghost. Instead of freaking out, she grinned. Time for my revenge. "Muhahahahaha....." She laughed as she struck a few notes on her guitar, and blue volts wrapped themselves around her, before teleporting her to the audition.

"Hey, Drew, who's that?" Cynthia pointed to the pale girl standing behind them. "I don't know." He replied, though thinking that the pale girl sort of resembled Ember. "She looks weird. But I like her hair." Cynthia commented, before turning her back towards the girl. Drew looked at the girls hair, noticing that it was like a flame. Then he looked at the instrument she was holding. "So...You play the electric guitar?" he said, trying to sound interested. The girl looked at him, before turning away. It was weird. She really did resemble Ember...But Ember couldn't  have come. The song they wrote together was a duet. Then, he felt a tug on his shirt. Cynthia was pulling him. "Come on, Drew! It's our turn!" She pulled him onto the stage.

"NEXT!!" The judge called as Drew and Cynthia walked off stage, happy grins on their face. Ember gripped her guitar tight and walked on stage. She waited until Drew was in the audience, staring at her, before announcing her name. "Ember. Ember Mclain." She smirked as she saw Drew's eyes widen. The judge nodded. "You may begin." Ember grabbed the microphone and started strumming the guitar, starting the song she thought of when she was coming here.

"Yeah....OhOOHhhhh....

It was, it was September
Wind blows, the dead leaves fall
To you, I did surrender
Two weeks, you didn't call...

Your life goes on without me
My life, a losing game
But you should, you should not doubt me
You will remember my name

Oh, Ember, you will remember
Ember, one thing remains
Oh, Ember, so warm and tender
You will remember my name

Your heart, your heart abandoned
Your wrong, now bear the shame
Like pleasant dreams, in cold December
Nothing but ashes remain...

Oh, Ember, you will remember
Ember, one thing remains
Ember, so warm and tender
You will remember my name

Oh ohh!

Ember, you will remember
Ember, one thing remains
Ember, so warm and tender
You will remember my name
Yeah! You will remember my name "

Ember finished her song. There was silence, and then..."EMBER!!!EMBER!!!!EMBER!!!!!" The crowd exploded. Ember took a bow and walked off stage, feeling her hair dance more ferociously. She felt...unlimited power. At the back of the stage, she met Drew. "Um...Ember...." Drew said nervously. "I'm sorry....After I heard your song....I felt so guilty. Can you resume back to being my girl?" Ember sneered at him viciously. "Please, Drew. It's too late. You should have stuck with me. But, you can't make me come back." Drew looked astonished. "What do you mean?" He asked. "I'm dead, Drew. I killed myself. I set myself on fire. All because of you." Ember gripped her guitar tight and turned the knob until it turned to the skull icon on her guitar. "I've come back from the dead to get my revenge." She lifted her hand, ready to swipe the strings. Drew backed away, trembling. "And I'll make sure.." Ember continued, raising her hand, which was glowing with green power, "THAT YOU WILL REMEMBER MY NAME!!!!!!!!!!!" She slammed down on the strings, sending a skull blast at Drew. The blast hit Drew and he screamed, crumpling on the ground.

"Drew?" Cynthia poked her head out of the curtains, where she had been hiding and ran to Drew's dead body. Ember laughed and struck another note. The green blast hit Cynthia and she too, collasped. "See ya...dipstick." Ember kicked the bodies out of her way and struck a note. Once again, volts wrapped themselves around her and she laughed evilly, before departing to the Ghost Zone.

Okay, so this is how I pictured Ember's past to be like. Please leave a comment, okay?
